Spoprijemanje socialnih delavk s stresom na delovnem mestu na centrih za socialno delo : magistrsko delo

Abstract
V teoretičnem delu magistrske naloge sem opisala stres, dejavnike stresa, vrste stresa in njegove posledice. Osredotočila sem se predvsem na stres na delovnem mestu in na spoprijemanje s stresom na individualni, družinsko-prijateljski, skupnostni in organizacijski ravni pri socialnih delavkah na centrih za socialno delo. V kvalitativni raziskavi sem na podlagi delno standardiziranega vprašalnika opravila deset intervjujev s socialnimi delavkami, zaposlenimi na centru za socialno delo. Vzorec moje raziskave je neslučajnostni, priročni. Potrdila sem ugotovitve številnih drugih raziskav, da je poklic socialne delavke stresen in zahteven. Na preučevano problematiko vplivajo določeno področje dela, delovna doba, osebnostne lastnosti, načini individualnega spoprijemanja s stresom, viri v ožji in širši neformalni socialni mreži ter skupnosti in organizacijski viri, ki so socialnim delavkam pri spoprijemanju s stresom na voljo s strani centrov za socialno delo. Socialne delavke glede spoprijemanja s stresom izpostavljajo predvsem pomembnost telesne aktivnosti, dobre odnose z zaposlenimi ter podporo neformalne socialne mreže, zlasti družine. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da so socialne delavke na nekaterih področjih zelo obremenjene s količino dela in administrativnimi nalogami, rešitev za svojo razbremenitev pa vidijo v kadrovski obogatitvi centra za socialno delo. Socialne delavke potrebujejo več strokovne podpore s strani zaposlenih. Potrebujejo toliko dela in primerov, kot so jih sposobne obvladovati, in tudi več izobraževanja in usposabljanja o tem, kako se učinkovito spoprijemati s stresom. Seveda potrebujejo čas, da se lahko izobraževanj in usposabljanj sploh udeležijo. Socialne delavke izražajo željo po kakovostnejši superviziji, predvsem po večji možnosti za individualno supervizijo. Želijo si tudi več kolektivnega povezovanja na centrih za socialno delo.

Title:Social workers coping with workplace stress in social work centres
Abstract:
In the theoretical part of my master's thesis, I described stress, stress factors, types of stress and its consequences. I focused mainly on stress in the workplace and stress management at individual, family and friendship, community and organisational levels among social workers in social work centres. My research is qualitative and based on a random sample of social workers employed in social work centres. I conducted ten interviews with social workers employed in social work centres. I confirmed the findings of many other studies that the social work profession is stressful and demanding. The theme examined is influenced by the particular field of work, length of employment, personality characteristics, individual coping with stress, closer and wider social networks, community resources, and organisational resources available to social workers to cope with stress in social work centres. To cope with stress, social workers emphasise the importance of physical activity, good relationships with colleagues, and support from the social network, especially family. I have found that social workers in some areas are very stressed by the amount of work and administration and therefore need more staff in the social work centres. The social workers need more professional support from the staff. They need as much work and cases as they can handle. Social workers need more education and training to deal better with stress. They need time to take part in training and further education measures. They need better quality supervision, especially more opportunities for individual supervision. Social workers want more collective cohesion in social work centres.
