Učinek elektrostimulacije akupunkturnih točk na gibljivost, hitrost, maksimalno moč in vzdržljivost v moči : magistrsko delo

Abstract
Cilj naše randomizirane kontrolne študije je bil preučiti vpliv večkratne elektrostimulacije akupunkturnih točk na motorične sposobnosti rekreativnih športnikov. Študija je vključevala 42 rekreativnih športnikov in športnic, ki so bili naključno razdeljeni v eksperimentalno (n = 21) in kontrolno skupino (n = 21). Eksperimentalna skupina je prejemala elektrostimulacijo akupunkturnih točk ST-36, SP-6 in REN-6, medtem ko je kontrolna skupina prejemala elektrostimulacijo neakupunkturnih točk. Udeleženci so opravili različne teste: vesa v zgibi, šprint na 20 m, izpadni korak z vsako nogo posebej, skok v daljino z mesta z vsako nogo posebej in predklon sede. Testi so bili izvedeni pred začetkom terapij in po desetih terapijah elektrostimulacije točk. Analizo podatkov smo izvedli v programu IBM SPSS 25 (SPSS Inc., Armonk, NY, ZDA). Analiza podatkov je pokazala, da so se rezultati testov večinoma izboljšali v obeh skupinah, kar nakazuje na uspešnost intervencije s stimulacijo akupunkturnih in neakupunkturnih točk. V večini primerov med akupunkturno in neakupunkturno stimulacijo nismo zaznali pomembnih razlik med skupinama (p > 0,05). Izjema je bila statistično značilna izboljšava eksplozivne moči pri skoku v daljino z levo nogo v eksperimentalni skupini (p = 0,034). Rezultati študije kažejo, da je bila intervencija s stimulacijo akupunkturnih in neakupunkturnih točk uspešna pri izboljšanju motoričnih sposobnosti rekreativnih športnikov. Čeprav smo opazili statistično značilno izboljšanje eksplozivne moči pri skoku v daljino z levo nogo v eksperimentalni skupini, nismo opazili širšega pozitivnega vpliva elektrostimulacije akupunkturnih točk v primerjavi z neakupunkturnimi točkami na druge motorične sposobnosti. Izid študije izraža potrebo po nadaljnjih raziskavah, ki bodo podrobneje raziskale in razjasnile mehanizme, ki stojijo za stimulacijo točk.

Title:The efect of electostimulation of acupuncture points on flexibility, speed, strenght endurance and maximum power
Abstract:
The aim of our randomized control study was to examine the impact of multiple electrostimulation sessions of acupuncture points on the motor skills of recreational athletes. The study included 42 recreational male and female athletes, who were randomly divided into an experimental group (n = 21) and a control group (n = 21). The experimental group received electrostimulation on acupuncture points ST-36, SP-6, and REN-6, while the control group received electrostimulation on non-acupuncture points. Participants underwent various tests: static hold in chin-up position, 20-meter sprint, 3 RM (repetition maximum) lunges, single leg long jump, and V-sit and reach flexibility test. The tests were carried out before the start of the therapies and after ten sessions of electrostimulation of the points. Data analysis was performed using IBM SPSS 25 software (SPSS Inc., Armonk, NY, USA). The data analysis showed that the test results improved mostly in both groups, indicating the effectiveness of the intervention with acupuncture and non-acupuncture point stimulation. In most cases, no significant differences were observed between acupuncture and non-acupuncture point stimulation (p > 0.05). The exception was a statistically significant improvement in explosive power during the left-leg long jump in the experimental group (p = 0.034). The results of the study indicate that the intervention with acupuncture and non-acupuncture point stimulation was successful in improving the motor abilities of recreational athletes. Although a statistically significant improvement in explosive power during the left-leg long jump was observed in the experimental group, no broader positive impact of acupuncture point electrostimulation compared to non-acupuncture points on other motor abilities was noticed. The study outcome highlights the need for further research to explore and clarify the mechanisms behind point stimulation.
