This diploma presents hydrogen technologies from hydrogen production, storage, transport and end-use. The technologies are seen as an alternative solution for decarbonising the atmosphere and thus for a greener future. The second part presents calculations and a comparison of hydrogen: consumption of different fuels, differences in carbon dioxide emissions when using different fuels, comparisons of hydrogen leakage in different applications, and a comparison of hydrogen with liquefied petroleum gas in the household. The comparisons show how far the technologies are from being fully effective, since today, in addition to the high price of hydrogen, there are also problems with leakage, which would lead to high annual costs for space heating.
