Colors are one of the essential components of a website, as they must represent the theme of the site in a recognizable way and evoke the appropriate emotional response from users. At the same time, they should be harmoniously arranged among themselves. For individuals creating their own websites but lacking design skills, this can be a significant challenge. We have addressed this problem by designing a color theme generator that, instead of offering random colors, takes a textual theme representing the idea or context of the website. It provides the user with a ready-made color theme, including a preview of colors on a website and mobile application, making it easier to visualize how the color theme will appear in a real environment.
We have developed a functional color theme generator, which we tested through user testing and evaluated through surveys. Certain issues were identified with the interface, but the generated color themes received very positive ratings, and users, in general, were satisfied with them.
