Idejna zasnova Centra za raziskovanje, razvoj in promocijo istrskega goveda v Kanfanaru

Magistrsko delo izhaja iz ideje o ustanovitvi živega muzeja v Kanfanarju v Istri, namenjenega ohranjanju kulturne dediščine istrskega goveda. Študija se poglablja v edinstveno pokrajino regije, ki vključuje kulturne in arhitekturne elemente, da bi zajela bistvo geniusa loci. Cilj projekta je vzpostaviti lokalno središče, ki bo globoko povezano z identiteto Kanfanarja. Predlagani kompleks uteleša zgodovino in pomen istrskega goveda ter odraža vez med skupnostjo in to dediščinsko pasmo, v njem pa sta tudi veterinarska klinika in upravno središče. Z arhitekturnim oblikovanjem želi projekt služiti kot simbol ohranjanja kulture, saj svojo velikost, proporce in poslanstvo usklajuje s tradicionalno grajenim okoljem.

• Title: Conceptual design of the Centre for Research, Development and Promotion of Istrian cattle in Kanfanar

Abstract

The master’s thesis starts from the idea of the creation of a living museum in Kanfanar, Istria, dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of the Istrian cattle. The study delves into the region’s unique landscape, encompassing cultural and architectural elements, to capture the essence of the genius loci. The project aims to establish a local center deeply connected to Kanfanar’s identity. The proposed complex embodies the Istrian cattle’s history and significance, reflecting the bond between the community and this heritage breed, as well as a veterinary clinic, and an administration center. Through architectural design, the project seeks to serve as a symbol of cultural preservation, aligning its size, proportions, and mission with the traditional built environment.
