Abstract
Cilj diplomskega dela je izdelava praktičnega modela štirikolesnega vozila v pomanjšanem merilu 1 : 10, ki bo omogočal preizkušanje različnih vrst vožnje. Za to je treba izvesti pregled literature in raziskavo podobnih izvedb modelov vozil, izbrati, pridobiti in razviti komponente ter zgraditi primerno šasijo, ki omogoča spremembe parametrov, kot so kolotek, medosna razdalja in lega težišča. Pogon naj bo izveden z elektromotorjem in ustrezno transmisijo z možnostjo vklopa ali izklopa pogona na sprednji, zadnji ali obeh oseh. Model naj bo zasnovan tako, da poškodbe med preizkušanjem ne bodo vplivale na njegovo delovanje in da bo možno enostavno zamenjati izpostavljene dele. Cilj naloge je izdelava vozila, ki bo primerno za različne vrste preizkusov in eksperimentalno verifikacijo modela, katere ugotovitve naj bodo kvantitativno analizirane in predstavljene v diskusiji in zaključku dela.

Title:Design and production of an adjustable vehicle model for small-scale testing
Abstract:
Testing different driving scenarios of a vehicle on a reduced scale can significantly contribute to understanding and analyzing driving dynamics phenomena. The aim of the task is to design and create a practical model of a four-wheeled vehicle on a reduced scale of 1:10. The vehicle must have adjustable parameters so that it can be used in various types of tests. The beginning of the task should include a review of literature and research on similar vehicle models. Based on the acquired data, components should be selected, obtained, developed, and produced for the construction of the own model. The model should include a suitable chassis with the possibility of changing track and wheelbase and the center of gravity position in all three coordinate directions. The drive should be implemented with an electric motor and suitable transmission elements with the option of engaging or disengaging the drive on the front, rear, or both axles. The design of the model should be such that damages during testing will not significantly affect its operation, and exposed parts can be easily replaced. The goal of the task is to create a vehicle model for various tests (e.g., climbing, overturning, driving over obstacles, etc.) and its experimental verification. Findings, together with a quantitative analysis of the values of parameters and vehicle performance, should be presented in the discussion and summarized in the conclusion in the last part of the task.
