SKLADIŠČENJE JEKLENIH KOLUTOV LOGISTA PGS KOPER D.O.O. PRI PODIZVAJALCU

V prvem delu svojega diplomskega dela bom podrobno opisal jeklene kolute in njihovo skladiščenje. Predstavil bom katere vrste jeklenih kolutov poznamo, ter njihove različne načine skladiščenja. Poleg tega bom bolj podrobno opisal skladiščenje jeklenih kolutov. Nadalje bom v svojem delu predstavil podjetje Pacorini Global Services (PGS) Koper d.o.o., ki se ukvarja s skladiščenjem jeklenih kolutov. Podrobno bom opisal njihovo delovanje, storitve, in ključne dejavnike uspeha. Prav tako bom izvedel Strenghts Weaknesses Opportunities Threats analizo (SWOT) skladiščenja jeklenih kolutov, ki ga upravlja podizvajalec. Analiziral bom močne in šibke točke skladiščenja ter priložnosti in tveganja, ki se pojavljajo pri skladiščenju kolutov. V nadaljnjem poglavju se bom osredotočil na eno izmed možnih tveganj skladiščenja pri podizvajalcu – iskanje kolutov in napačno odpremljen tovor. Raziskal bom vzrok problema in predlagal alternativne rešitve.

• Title: STORAGE OF STEEL COILS OF THE LOGISTICS COMPANY PSG KOPER D.O.O. AT SUBCONTRACTOR PREMISES

Abstract

In the first part of my thesis, I will describe steel coils and their storage in detail. I will present the different types of steel coils and their different storage methods. In addition, I will describe in more detail the storage of steel coils. Furthermore, I will present the company Pacorini Global Services (PGS) Koper d.o.o., which deals with the storage of steel coils. I will describe in detail their operations, services, and key success factors. I will also conduct a Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (SWOT) analysis of the steel coil warehouse operated by the subcontractor. I will analyse the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks that arise in the storage of coils. In the following section, I will focus on one of the potential risks of subcontractor storage - the search for reels and mis-shipped cargo. I will investigate the cause of the problem and propose alternative solutions.
