Abstract
V diplomski nalogi bomo predstavili osnove delovanja decentralizirane platforme Ethereum, opisali različne mehanizme soglasja in jih primerjali.

Title:Highly available architecture for decentralised cryptocurrency exchange rate monitoring
Abstract:
In this thesis, we will present the basics of the decentralised Ethereum platform and describe and compare different consensus mechanisms. We will also focus on oracles, exploring the differences between centralised and decentralised oracles, their role and importance in the blockchain world. Next, we will focus on the decentralised Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO), where we analyse its key components, how data providers submit data, describe the different smart contracts that it is composed of and how their rewards system works. Finally, we will present the price forecasting models we have tested and compare their performance.
