Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava izkušnje in stališča udeležencev tečajev slovenščine kot drugega jezika. V teoretičnem delu predstavi značilnosti procesov učenja in uveljavljene pristope k poučevanju jezikov na tečajih. Pokaže pomen učitelja za uspešno učenje jezika in pregleda značilnosti učenja slovenščine kot drugega jezika. V empiričnem delu z analizo anketnega vprašalnika ugotavlja, kakšne so izkušnje udeležencev s tečaji in kaj menijo o različnih značilnostih le-teh.

Title:
Experience of Participants in Slovene as a second language Courses
Abstract:
The thesis concerns itself with the experiences and opinions of participants in Slovene-as-a-second-language courses. In the theoretical part, it presents the characteristics of the learning processes and the established approaches to language teaching in the courses. It demonstrates the importance of the role of teacher in successful language learning and examines the characteristics of learning Slovene as a second language. In the empirical part, it analyses a questionnaire to find out what the participants' experiences of the courses are and what they think about the different features of the courses. It looks at the reasons for attending a Slovene course, the participants' opinion on the importance of various organisational factors of the course, their well-being during the course, their satisfaction with the group, the teacher, and the knowledge acquired, and also focuses on their general opinion on the teachers of Slovene-as-a-second-language courses.
