The final seminar paper deals with the motif of the Judgment of Paris, one of the key motifs of classical mythology, which can be seen very often in art. The final seminar paper offers a brief overview of this motif through the periods, with an emphasis on Renaissance art, where classical mythology once again flourishes and the motif of the Judgment of Paris once again paves its way among the most popular scenes from the treasury of classical mythology. Numerous works are presented, starting with important vase paintings in the art of ancient Greece, rare preserved examples of wall painting in Roman art, and individual examples of medieval miniature painting are also introduced. The central part of the paper is dedicated to the Renaissance, where special attention is paid to the art of painting and partly also to applied arts.
