Abstract
V magistrskem delu Vključenost podnebnih sprememb v pouk geografije in zgodovine v gimnaziji smo ugotavljali, v kolikšni meri in na kakšen način so podnebne spremembe vključene v pouk geografije in zgodovine v slovenskih gimnazijah. Obstaja precej vsebin iz podnebne zgodovine, ki bi jih bilo smiselno vključiti v pouk geografije ali pa zgodovine v gimnaziji. Analizirali smo ključne slovenske dokumente in ugotovili, da je omemb podnebnih sprememb precej malo. Ugotovili smo, da so podnebne spremembe v dovoljšni meri vključene v učni načrt geografije, v učni načrt zgodovine pa ne in da je najboljši način za pripravo konceptov učnih ur kombinacija obstoječih z novimi. Učitelji geografije so večinoma zadovoljni z vključenostjo podnebnih sprememb v pouk geografije, učitelji zgodovine pa niso zadovoljni z vključenostjo te teme v pouk zgodovine. Anketni odgovori dijakov so pokazali, da obstaja razlika v znanju o podnebnih spremembah med dijaki nižjih in višjih letnikov gimnazije. Zato bi bilo treba v prihodnosti več pozornosti nameniti dodatnemu izobraževanju učiteljev na temo podnebnih sprememb.

Title:Integration of climate change in geography and history lessons at general upper secondary school.
Abstract:
In the masters thesis Integration of climate change in geography and history lessons at general upper secondary school we were researching how much and in what way is climate change included in lessons of geography and history in Slovenian general upper secondary schools. There are a lot of topics from climate history that can be included in geography or history lessons. We analyzed key Slovenian documents and found that climate change is sparsely mentioned. Through the analysis of geography and history school curriculums we found that climate change is far more incorporated into the curriculum of geography compared to the curriculum of history. We found that the best way to prepare concepts of lesson plans is too combine existing topics with new materials. Geography teachers are mostly content with the way climate change is integrated into geography lessons, whilst history teachers are not content with the way climate change is integrated into history lessons. Answers from our survey showed that students in higher grades have more knowledge on climate change compared to students in lower grades. Additional education of teachers on the topic of climate change could be key in the future.
