Climate change and global warming have recently become more and more serious threats to the world. Eliminating or mitigating the impact on the environment has become a major challenge for humanity. Without concrete changes in environmental policy to reduce the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the temperature of the atmosphere will continue to rise. Global warming is caused by greenhouse gases. CO2 is the main greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, so it makes sense to look for a solution to reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. One solution is the conversion of CO2, e.g. the RWGS (''Reverse water gas shift'') reaction, which uses hydrogen to produce carbon monoxide (CO), which is useful in the synthesis of methanol (CH3OH) and various hydrocarbons.
In the experimental part, the influence of the reaction conditions and the structure of the catalyst on its activity during the RWGS reaction was investigated. Characterisation of the catalysts with different Cu was also carried out. Finally, the stability of the catalysts was checked.
