Proza Vlada Žabota se loteva univerzalnih tem, ki zadevajo samoidentifikacijo v okviru individualne in kulturne perspektive; odpira bivanjska in estetska vprašanja. Nenavadne zgodbe predstavljajo konstrukcije, za katere ni potrebno mimetično predstavljanje resničnosti. Gre za identifikacijske fabule, ki pa nimajo več elementarnosti emblema.

Abstract

The prose of Vlado Žabot addresses universal topics that concern self-from theperspective of the individual and culture; it poses existential and aesthetic questions. The unusual stories constitute constructions created without the need of mimetic representation of the reality. They are identifying plots, but they are devoid of the simplicity of an emblem.
