The adjective "young" has been used several times as a provisional label for the innovations introduced by new generations of poets which, due to the heterogeneity of their writings, could not have been systematically subsumed under one domnant literay current. This is true for the generation of poets born after 1970, who have been asserting themselves in the last decade and whose achievements will be presented first in overview and then as sketches of individual poetics.
