Pomen prostora tržne dejavnosti skozi zgodovino

Projekt kroženje, ki povezuje nekdanje območje Pivovarne Union v celoto s pridelavo, porabo, ostanki in ponovno uporabo sestavljajo različni elementi. Naloga se osredotoča na tržnico in modernizacijo le-te. Tržnica se nahaja ob Celovški cesti, osredotoča se na trajnostno mobilnost. Spodbuja pešce in kolesarje, na območju je pločnik tako kot kolesarska steza, parkirišč na območju ni. Tržnico napaja pridelava na območju kot so vertikalni vrtovi, hidroponika, akvaponika in grede – vsa pridelava se nahaja v »recikliranih« stavbah nekdanje pivovarne. Trgovanje kot samo ni le izmenjava blaga; gre za izmenjavo kulture in skupnosti z mislijo na prihodnost. Na splošno sodobna živilska tržnica presega tradicionalno izkušnjo trgovine z živili, saj združuje prodajo živil na drobno z zabavo, izobraževanjem in vključevanjem skupnosti ter potrošnikom zagotavlja edinstven in večplasten pristop k nakupovanju živil in prehranjevanju.

• Title: The importance of the space of market activity throughout history

Abstract

The Circulation project, which links the former Union Brewery site into a whole with production, consumption, residues and reuse, is made up of different elements. The task focuses on the market and its modernisation. The market is located along Celovška cesta, focusing on sustainable mobility. It encourages pedestrians and cyclists, there is a pavement as well as a cycle lane, and there is no parking in the area. The market is fed by on-site production such as vertical gardens, hydroponics, aquaponics and greenhouses - all located in “recycled” former brewery buildings. Trade as such is not just the exchange of goods; it’s about sharing culture and community with the future in mind. Overall, the modern food market goes beyond the traditional grocery store experience by combining food retailing with entertainment, education and community involvement, providing consumers with a unique and multi-faceted approach to food shopping and eating.
