Idejna zasnova revitalizacije kamnoloma Solkan

Magistrsko delo naslavlja revitalizacijo kamnoloma Solkan. Prva omemba dejavnosti na omen- jenem območju sega v leto ^^^^. Na tem območju se nahaja rudnina, bogata z apnencem, ki je bila skozi desetletja pomemben vir surovine za različne namene na področju gradbeništva. Sama dejavnost in način izkopavanja rudnine s širitvijo dejavnosti sta večala vpliv na širši okoliš. V zadnjem desetletju so bile aktivnosti strogo regulirane in omejene, leta ^^^^ pa se je s propadom podjetja Solkanska industrija apna ustavila aktivnost sežiganja apna, ki je bila za to območje bila zelo okoljsko obremenilna. Obstala je zgolj aktivnost izkopavanja surovine, ki je še danes v polnem teku. Trenutna dejavnost izkopavanja ima omejeno obdobje delovanja. V Rudarskem projektu za pridobitev koncesije je ocenjeno delovanje na naslednjih ^^ let. S tem namenom se predvidi periodično revitalizacijo, ki bo v prihodnosti nadomestila trenutno aktivnost. S tranzicijo na ekonomsko-gospodarskem področju ter vključitvijo kulturnih dejavnosti je cilj, da se omogoči dostopnost na območje kamnoloma širši javnosti. Posledično revitalizacija predvidi kulturni center z različnimi gradniki tega prostora v sklopu Nova gorica • Gorizia Evropska prestol- nica kulture in se izkoristi pozornost, ki jo zagotavlja takšen dogodek, ob tem pa se izpostavi primanjkljaj kritične mase ljudi na področju kulture na omenjenem območju. Zatem se v obdobju ^^ih let vzpostavi »gojilnico rastlin«. V obdobju treh desetletij delovanja drevesnice se predvidi postopno krčenje izkopavanja in s tem postopno širitev zelene dimenzi- je in dstopnost območja za širšo javnost. Z restrukturiranjem aktivnosti se ponudi možen pristop k nadaljnji uporabi odrabljenih mineralnih najdišč, ki jih je v Sloveniji z vsakim letom več. Glede na preteklost dotičnega ob- močja in širšo vpetost v prostor je mogoče vzpostaviti kulturno-ekonomski kombinat.

• Title: Conceptual design for the revitalisation of Solkan quarry

Abstract

The content of the master’s work is the revitalization of the Solkan quarry. The first mention of activities in this area dates back to ^^^^. The area is home to a mine rich in limestone. For decades, they have been an important source of raw materials for various construction pur- poses. However, with the expansion of the activity, the activity itself and the method of mining the mineral also increased the impact on the wider environment. The activities were strictly regulated and limited in the last decade, in ^^^^, with the collapse of the company Solkanska industrija apna, the activity of burning lime, which was very environmentally burdensome for this area, stopped, only the activity of mining the raw material remained. The current mining activity has a limited period of operation, in the »Mining Project for the Acquisition of a Concession« the operation is estimated for the next ^^ years. With this aim, periodic revitalization is envisaged, which will replace the current activity in the future. With the transition in the economic field and the inclusion of cultural activities, the aim is to make the area accessible to the general public. It is necessary to ensure that goods are not marketed as raw materials but as semi-products or finished products. As a result, a gallery is planned as part of the Nova gorica_Gorizia European Capital of Culture and the shout that such an event provides is used. After that, a »plant nursery« is established over a period of two years. In the period of three decades of operation of the nursery, a reduction in excavation and thus a gradual expansion of the intervention is foreseen. The model of such restructuring offers a sample of the state-building »mundus«, which sums up the past and looks to the future of local significance with national significance. As a result, it becomes one of the key indicators of metabolism for the utilization of abandoned areas, which are increasing every year in Slovenia. A limited critical mass of people in the field of culture, low attendance at existing cultural institutions - a new, temporary gallery in a timeless structure enables the transition to a new activity nursery. Low-effective activity, injection of knowledge and intellectual abilities-added value higher-lower migration balance.
