Abstract
Cilj diplomske naloge je bil preveriti elastomehanske in dušilne lastnosti lesenih sredic za smuči. Sredice iz različnih lesnih vrst in konstrukcijskih zasnov smo testirali statično upogibno in dinamično z metodo frekvenčnega odziva. Dodatno smo preverili dušilne lastnosti preizkušancev, ter deformacije po upogibnem cikličnem obremenjevanju. Ugotovili smo značilen pozitiven vpliv gostote lesa na togost testiranih sredic smuči, ki pa je bila odvisna tudi od konstrukcijske. Sredice smuči iz gostejših lesov so imele praviloma višje lastne frekvence, ter boljše dušenje vibracij s krajšim polovičnim uravnovesnim časom. Pri cikličnem obremenjevanju lesenih sredic je prihajalo do utrujanja materiala, ter povečevanja upogibnih deformacij.

Title:Mechanical properties of the ski core reinforced with natural in synthetic fibers
Abstract:
The aim of the study was to investigate the elastomechanical and damping properties of wood ski cores. Cores of different wood species and designs were tested statically for bending and dynamically using the vibration resonance method. In addition, the damping properties of the specimens and the deformation after cyclic bending were investigated. Wood density was found to have a significant, positive effect on the stiffness of the tested ski cores, which was also dependent on the structural stiffness. Ski cores made of denser woods tended to exhibit higher natural frequencies and better vibration damping with shorter equilibration times. Cyclic loading of wood cores resulted in material fatigue and increased bending deformation.
