Abstract
Oba spomenika smo fotografirali s fotoaparatom in z metodo grajenja strukture iz gibanja (SfM) orientirali fotografije, nakar smo z metodo večpogledni stereo (MVS) izdelali gosti oblak točk.

Title:Photogrammetric survey of geodetic marks of the Maribor Triangulation Base : graduation thesis no.: 137/TUN
Abstract:
In the thesis, we carried out the survey of two terminal points of the Maribor trigonometric base using photogrammetric measurement. The points of the Maribor trigonometric base, established in 1860, consist of two parts: an upper pyramid part measuring about 1.90 m in height, and a lower square part measuring about 1.25 m in height. The northern base point numbered 218 is located on the edge of Orehova vas, while the southern point numbered 217 is situated on the edge of the village Starošince, with 6 km between them. Both monuments were photographed using a camera, and the Structure from Motion (SfM) technique was employed to orient the images. Subsequently, a dense point cloud was generated using the Multi-View Stereo (MVS) method. From the dense point cloud, a 3D model was created in the form of a polygonal 3D mesh and textured accordingly. Based on the oriented photographs, orthophotos of both monuments were generated from all four sides. The 3D models were also compared with each other. The comparison of the two monuments revealed their nearly identical nature, with differences on individual surfaces ranging between 0 to 25 mm. Differences in characteristic measurements of heights and widths of individual components do not exceed 1 cm.
