The thesis defines the historical development of journalistic texts in the field of motoring in Slovenia by reviewing publications and analyzing selected articles at the level of stylistically expressive image and linguistic distinctiveness with the help of the model of seven criteria of comprehensibility.
OBJECTIVES: define automotive magazines, outline their development in Slovenia, list the magazines current in 2022, textually and stylistically analyze the articles according to thematic groups and find out to what extent these are professional texts with the aim of providing practical information or popular science entertainment texts.
TOOLS AND METHODS OF WORK: reading and textual-stylistic analysis of these texts, searching for information on magazine websites, in thematic publications, professional literature, searching in online information systems (Cobiss), online dictionaries and encyclopedias.
