Abstract
V svojem diplomskem delu sem raziskovala posebno obliko zaposlitve pod posebnimi pogoji – integrirano zaposlitev. Uporabniki so še vseeno del zavodov, v katere so vključeni.

Title:Integrated employment from the perspective of users and professionals of sheltered employment centres in Slovenia
Abstract:
In my thesis I investigated a special form of employment under special conditions-integrated employment. In the first part I touched upon persons with disabilities and the position of the disabled in society, and more specifically I introduced persons with intellectual disabilities, then I looked at the employment of disabled persons and reviewed some of the legislation in this area. As integrated employment is carried out within sheltered employment centres, I also presented these. Finally, I present integrated employment practices from other countries. I myself carried out qualitative research and involved nine interviewees. I conducted three interviews with workers in the sheltered employmet centetres and six interviews with users who are involved in integrated employment. The interviews I did focused on how integrated employment works, how satisfied the users are in the workspaces, what the relationships are like at work, what the contract and pay are like, what the positives are, what the barriers are and what the negatives are. Overall, I have found that it means a lot to the users to be integrated into a normal working environment, and it also improves their self-esteem, self-confidence, self-image, new skills, financial security. Users are still part of the institutions they are involved in. They have a so-called tripartite contract with the company and the institution. They are paid for their work, which is on average a bit lower, around three euros. We also talked about the different relationships, between the user and the other employees, the employer, the clients, as well as the relationships between the professionals and the employers. Finally, we also looked at some of the barriers, the most prominent of which was the difficulty in finding employers and companies willing to participate in the concept of integrated employment.
