Abstract
V diplomski nalogi obravnavamo problem optimizacije proizvodnje turbin v podjetju.

Title:Introduction of the SMED Method in the Turbine Manufacturing Process
Abstract:
In this thesis, we address the issue of optimizing turbine production in a company. The research focuses on the effectiveness of implementing the SMED method (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) as a solution to reduce errors and enhance product quality. Research methods used include compilation, description, and deductive methods to verify the hypothesis regarding the effectiveness of the SMED method. Key findings indicate that implementing the SMED method significantly contributes to increased productivity, reduced tool change times, and improved qualitative characteristics, particularly in product control.
