Abstract
Dušilci v splošnem so namenjeni zmanjševanju zvočne jakosti. Moj cilj je v simulacijskem programu ustvariti čim bolj realno proizvajanje tona v trobenti, v odmevnik katere bom postavil različne modele dušilcev in primerjal izhodne podatke. Primerjal bom kako se spremenijo rezultati, če spremenimo obliko, debelino pločevine, in globino postavitve dušilca. Pri vseh modelih ostajajo gabaritne mere enake.

Title:Simulation testing of a straight mute silencer for trumpet
Abstract:
Mufflers in general are intended to reduce sound volume. Where we are not interested in the quality of damping. Sound attenuation is also used in music, but the quality of the attenuation is also very important. Due to the production technology of silencers, only these are made of two pieces of aluminum, which resonate with each other when playing, which, in addition to muting, also changes the color of the tone. My goal is to create as realistic tone production as possible in a trumpet in the simulation program, in the resonator of which I will place different models of mufflers and compare the output data. I will compare how the results change if we change the shape, thickness of the sheet, and the depth of the muffler. Overall dimensions remain the same for all models.
