In our thesis, we presented the process of creating a comprehensive visual identity for a newly established company, Tissa Design, which specializes in producing unique handcrafted products and offers graphic design services. Our aim was to develop an innovative and memorable comprehensive visual identity.
In the theoretical part, we introduced the concept of a comprehensive visual identity and defined its key elements, such as the logo, typography, and colours. We also explained their significance and usage. To further guide our design process, we drew inspiration from several companies that served as good sources and examples.
In the experimental part, we first presented the equipment and methods used in our thesis. We proceeded to describe and introduce the company itself and its target audience, which we had identified. To facilitate the logo selection process, we conducted an online survey. Subsequently, we described the steps involved in creating a comprehensive visual identity, starting by sketching a logo using Adobe software. Then, additional elements and promotional materials were designed. At the end of the experimental part, we compared photographs of the selected companies and determined the visual style to be adopted in photographs of Tissa Design.
Next, we provided a result and discussion section, where we presented the final products and their outcomes, supported by visual representations. The company logo, business card, and letterhead were showcased. As promotional materials, we designed and introduced stickers, a branded pen, and a shopping bag. For the final appearance on social media, we photographed products of the company according to the established criteria. Thus, the comprehensive visual identity has been created at a level that enables the company to present itself in the market.
