Abstract
V zaključni nalogi smo poiskali in preučili podatke z več področij, ki so potrebni za temeljito analizo varnosti v cestnem prometu na območju Republike Slovenije: o voznikih, cestni infrastrukturi, okolju, prometu in vozilih. Podatke smo geolocirali ter poiskali njihove upravljalce. Pregledali smo smernice in metodološka merila Evropske komisije in primere dobre prakse s tega področja. Kontaktirali smo odgovorne osebe ustanov in informacijske pooblaščence, ki se v kakršnikoli meri ukvarjajo s prometno varnostjo ter se pozanimali o možnostih za pridobitev njihovih podatkovnih baz. Vse vrste podatkov smo skupaj z informacijami o upravljalcu, formatu in javni dostopnosti zbrali v preglednici. Ugotovili smo, da se veliko podatkov za preučevanje cestno prometne varnosti že zbira in obdeluje, na tem področju prednjačita Policija in Agencija za varnost prometa. Zahteven pa je dostop do občutljivejših vrst podatkov zaradi varstva osebnih podatkov.

Title:
Data collection for road traffic safety analysis
Abstract:
In the final thesis, we have searched for and studied data from various areas necessary for a comprehensive analysis of road safety in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia: about drivers, road infrastructure, environment, traffic, and vehicles. We geolocated the data and identified their administrators. We reviewed the guidelines and methodological criteria of the European Commission, as well as examples of best practices in this field. We contacted responsible individuals in institutions and public information representatives who are involved in any way with road safety, and inquired about the possibilities of obtaining their databases. We collected all types of data, along with information about the administrator, format, and public accessibility, in a spreadsheet. We found that a significant amount of data for studying road traffic safety is already being collected and processed, with the Police and the Slovenian Traffic Safety Agency leading in this area. However, accessing more sensitive types of data is challenging due to personal data protection concerns.
