Abstract
Prezračevanje prostorov je ključnega pomena za zagotavljanje zadostne kakovosti zraka. Kakovost zraka je tesno povezana z zdravjem, produktivnostjo in splošnim počutjem ljudi v prostorih. Veliko stavb nima nameščenega mehanskega prezračevalnega sistema, zato se prezračujejo naravno. Naravno prezračevanje se lahko izvede na več možnih načinov, med katerimi je najbolj pogost primer enostransko prezračevanje, ki ima svoje prednosti in slabosti. Problem enostranskega prezračevanja je zagotavljanje učinka prezračevanja v delih prostora, ki so najbolj oddaljeni od prezračevalne odprtine. Z uporabo programskega orodja DesignBuilder smo naredili računalniško simulacijo enostranskega prezračevanja predavalnice in tako določili učinkovitost prezračevanja. Za simulacijo smo si izbrali predavalnico III/3A v tretjem nadstropju Fakultete za strojništvo Univerze v Ljubljani in uporabili njene podatke. Na podlagi simulacije smo ugotovili, da je učinkovitost enostranskega prezračevanja tesno povezana z velikostjo prezračevalnih odprtin in da je v izbrani predavalnici mogoče doseči zahtevane pogoje.

Title:The possibilities and limitations of natural ventilation in the classroom
Abstract:
Indoor ventilation is essential to ensure sufficient air quality. Air quality is closely linked to the health, productivity and general well-being of the occupants. Many buildings do not have a mechanical ventilation system installed and are therefore ventilated naturally. Natural ventilation can be implemented in a number of possible ways, the most common example being single-sided ventilation, which has its advantages and disadvantages. The problem with single-sided ventilation is to provide a ventilation effect in the parts of the room furthest away from the ventilation opening. Using the DesignBuilder software tool, a computer simulation of single-sided ventilation of a classroom was carried out to determine the effectiveness of the ventilation. For the simulation, we chose lecture room III/3A on the third floor of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana and used its data. Based on the simulation, we found that the efficiency of single-sided ventilation is closely related to the size of the ventilation openings and that the required conditions can be achieved in the classroom.
