Abstract
Izdelava kakovostnega logotipa in celostne grafične podobe je eden izmed pomembnejših elementov, s katerima se podjetje predstavlja na trgu. Logotip mora biti unikaten, saj bo le tako izstopal med konkurenčnimi podjetji. Dobro zasnovan logotip pomaga pri boljši in lažji prepoznavnosti podjetja na trgu. Namen diplomskega dela je bil oblikovati celostno grafično podobo za navidezno kavarno, ki naj bi bila v centru Ljubljane. Po opravljeni analizi trga kavarn in gostinskih lokalov v centru Ljubljane je bil oblikovan primeren logotip moderne kavarne. Po opravljeni analizi trga je bila zasnovana vizualna podoba. Definirati je bilo treba barvno paleto, pisave, več različic logotipa itd. Sestavljena je bila kratka anketa, ki je bila posredovana naključnim osebam brez izkušenj z oblikovanjem logotipa. Odgovori anketirancev so pripomogli k lažji odločitvi glede najprimernejše končne vizualne podobe kavarne. Želja je bila oblikovati vizualno podobo, ki bi bila preprosta in zapomnljiva ter hkrati modernega videza. Dobra priprava in opravljene raziskave so bile ključnega pomena za izdelavo funkcionalnega logotipa, ki je bil kasneje vključen na različne tiskovine (npr. vizitke ali meni), digitalne vsebine (npr. objave na družbenih omrežjih) in promocijski material (npr. majice). Cilj diplomske naloge je bil spoznati celoten postopek pri kreiranju celostne grafične podobe novega podjetja, od idej pa vse do končnih izdelkov. Poleg navedenega je bil cilj ustvariti kakovostno izdelan logotip, ki bi ga lahko brez težav lahko vključili na različne izdelke. Narediti smo želeli jasne smernice za oblikovanje, saj bo le tako podjetje/kavarna ostala prepoznavna že po samem stilu oblikovanja.

Title:Design and use of the coffee shop logo on prints and in digital designs
Abstract:
The creation of a high-quality logo and corporate identity is one of the most important elements with which the company presents itself on the market. The logo must be unique, as this is the only way to stand out from competing companies. A well-designed logo contributes to better and easier recognition in the market. The aim of the thesis was to design a corporate identity for a virtual café to be located in the centre of Ljubljana. After analysing the market for cafés and restaurants in Ljubljana, a suitable logo for a modern café was designed. After the market analysis, a corporate identity was designed. The colour palette, fonts, different versions of the logo, etc. had to be decided. A short survey was created and distributed to randomly selected people who had no experience with logo design. The responses of the respondents facilitated the decision on the most appropriate corporate identity for the café. The desire was to create a corporate identity that was simple and memorable and at the same time looked modern. Good preparation and research were key to creating a functional logo that we later integrated into various printed materials (e.g. business cards or menus), digital content (e.g. posts on social media) and promotional materials (e.g. T-shirts). The aim of the thesis was to learn about the whole process of creating a corporate identity for a new company, from the idea to the finished product. It was also about designing a high-quality logo that could be easily integrated into different products. To create clear specifications for the design guidelines, because this is the only way the company/café remains recognisable by the design style itself.
