Abstract
Magistrska naloga temelji na kreativni zasnovi in praktični izvedbi modnega editoriala z idejnim izhodiščem v romantični ljubezni, zlomljenem srcu in fazah žalovanja, ki temu sledijo in je predstavljen v obliki digitalnega zina na družbenem omrežju Instagram. Sodobna modna pripoved z naslovom Well to me, texting you is not meaningless (slovensko: No, pisanje sporočil tebi, zame ni brez pomena) je deljena na sedem poglavji, ki temeljijo na zaporednih fazah žalovanja in nastopijo kot posledica zlomljenega srca. Pridevnik sodoben se nanaša na uporabo modernih vizualnih medijev kot sredstev za ustvarjanje modnih zgodb, vključno s končno prezentacijo, ki se nahaja na družbenem omrežju Instagram pod profilom @yallachico. V teoretičnem delu so utemeljeni pomeni ustvarjanja modnih podob in njihovega komuniciranja s končnimi uporabniki. Izpostavljeni so pomembni dogodki in dejavniki, ki so vplivali na razvoj komunikacije v modni industriji. Preučen je pomen današnjih modnih publikacij in raziskane potencialne vloge tiskanih revij v prihodnosti ter mediji, ki bi lahko predstavljali njihove alternative. Področja modne fotografije, modnega filma in modnega stilizma so preučena v kontekstu modne komunikacije danes in v prihodnosti. V eksperimentalnem delu je predstavljena izhodiščna pripoved ter utemeljen razvoj koncepta za celoten modni editorial, ki je razčlenjen na sedem delov skozi inspiracijske kolaže - vzdušje, estetiko, kronološki razvoj, barvno paleto in kadre. Končni rezultat je prikazan skozi serijo sedmih vizualnih pripovedi, ki s pomočjo različnih dejavnikov (barv, kadrov, oblačil, izbora tehnologije, glasbe, poziranja, izbora modelov) učinkovito uprizarjajo in potencirajo izhodiščno zgodbo v obliki digitalnega zina.

Title:Contemporary fashion editorial stemming from romantic love
Abstract:
This master thesis is based on the creative conception and execution of a contemporary fashion editorial with a conceptual starting point in romantic love, heartbreak and the stages of grief that follow. It is presented in a form of a digital zine on the social media platform Insta-gram. The contemporary fashion editorial entitled Well to me, texting you is not meaningless is di-vided into seven chapters covering the seven successive stages of grief one goes through after heartbreak. The adjective “contemporary” refers to the use of contemporary visual me-dia as a means to produce fashion images – including the final presentation, posted on the social media platform Instagram under the username @yallachico. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concepts of fashion images and fashion communication, highlighting important events and factors that influenced its development. It examines the importance of fashion magazines nowadays and explores the potential of print publications in the future, suggesting alternative forms of media that could replace them. The areas of fashion photography, fashion film and styling are also explored, in the context of fashion communication today and in the future. Finally, romantic relationships in relation to one’s own individual identity are analyzed, along with a description of grief stages from heart-break trauma. The experimental part presents the initial story and the concept development for the whole editorial and its individual chapters through inspirational collages conveying their atmosphere, aesthetics, chronological development, color palette and camera shots. The end result is a series of editorials that effectively tell and heighten the initial story through a variety of factors (colors, shots, clothing, choice of technology, music, posing, models).
