Abstract

Title:Improving the insertion of metal inserts into the plastic injection tool
Abstract:
Main concern of this paper is ensuring a state of confidence in insertion of metal inserts in the polymer molding machine. By improving the sorting process, sensors of the robotic cell and modifying the tool and security measures we will try to eliminate the possibility of damage to the tool and other parts of the automated molding machine. Eliminating the possibility of damage is not entirely possible, however by using a layered system of security measures and through constant control and upgrade of those measures we can minimize the possibility of damage to an acceptable level.
