Abstract
Tehnologija 3D tiskanja je v zadnjih letih naredila velik preskok. Širok nabor materialov in cenovna dostopnost sta omogočila uporabo tako v industriji, kot tudi v gospodinjstvu. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil določiti najbolj optimalen polimerni material in parametre tiskanja za izdelavo Banki vodne turbine, ki bo izpostavljena zunanjim vremenskim pogojem. Z primerjavo mehanskih, fizikalnih in kemijskih lastnosti smo ocenili, kateri izmed polimernih materialov je najbolj primeren za izdelavo vodne turbine. Te lastnosti smo preverjali z eksperimentalnim delom pri katerem smo merili upogibno napetost lopatic na gonilniku. Določili smo tudi parametre za tiskanja na tiskalniku Prusa i3 MK3. Za eksperimentalni del smo sestavili merilno postajo izključno iz materialov in instrumentov, ki smo jih imeli na voljo v laboratoriju LVTS.

Title:Manufacture of water turbines using 3D printing methods
Abstract:
In recent years, 3D printing technology has made significant advancements. A wide range of materials and cost accessibility have enabled its application both in industry and households. The aim of the thesis was to determine the most optimal polymer material and printing parameters for the production of a Cross-flow water turbine that would be exposed to external weather conditions. By comparing mechanical, physical and chemical properties, we evaluated which among the polymer materials is most suitable for manufacturing the water turbine. These properties were confirmed through experimental work, during which we measured the bending stress of the blades on the impeller. We also established the parameters for printing on Prusa i3 MK3 printer. For the experimental part, we assembled a measuring station using materials and available in the LVTS laboratory.
