Abstract
Mnogo tujih raziskav, katere podrobneje predstavim v teoretičnem delu, pokaže pozitivno stališče socialnih delavk/-cev in študentk/-ov socialnega dela do vključevanja duhovnosti v svojo prakso. Kljub temu med njimi prevladuje občutek neustrezne usposobljenosti za praktično udejanjanje svojega naklonjenega stališča, kar določeni raziskovalci povezujejo z nezadostno zastopanostjo duhovnih vsebin v kurikulumu študijskih programov socialnega dela. Namen moje raziskave je bil preučiti študentsko perspektivo glede vključevanja vsebin duhovnosti v kurikulum socialnega dela. Raziskava je kvantitativna in izvedena na vzorcu 132 študentk in študentov Fakultete za socialno delo Univerze v Ljubljani. Podatke sem pridobila s spletno anketo. Ugotovila sem, da študentke in študenti socialnega dela kažejo razmeroma pozitivno stališče do duhovnosti in do vključevanja duhovnih vsebin v kurikulum.

Title:Spirituality in the social work curriculum – students' perspective
Abstract:
The popularity of spiritual practices has risen sharply in the last few years. For the last decades, we have seen a growing interest in the role that spirituality (can) play both in our daily lives and in the context of help and support. Spirituality has also found a place in social work, as indicated in particular by foreign scientific and professional articles and research. Spirituality is often seen as a source of strength of the individual, family and community and a form of self-help. By a detailed examination of the problem and research, I found that the curriculum of social work study programmes lacked the content of the spiritual dimension despite the commitment to a holistic view. Many foreign research, which I present in more detail in the theoretical work, shows a positive view of social workers and social work students towards the integration of spirituality into their practice. Nevertheless, there is a feeling of inadequate competence to virtually implement their sympathetic position, which some researchers associate with the lack of representation of spiritual content in the curriculum of social work study programmes. The purpose of my research was to examine the student perspective on the integration of spirituality content into the curriculum of social work. The survey is quantitative and carried out on a sample of 132 students from the Faculty of Social Work, University of Ljubljana. Information was obtained through (online) survey. I found that students of social work show a relatively positive attitude to spirituality and to the inclusion of spiritual content in the curriculum. Regardless of religious determination, they believe that spirituality is a possible source of strength. Students see the usefulness of certain spiritual content, with 93% supporting the inclusion of such a subject in the curriculum (especially as an optional subject). However, students are also aware of the potential risks of integrating spirituality into practice, 90% agree that a social worker should pay attention to ways of integrating spirituality that may be harmful.
