Abstract
V proizvodnji stikal je kakovost ključnega pomena za varnost in dolgo življenjsko dobo stikala. S tem razlogom obstajajo zakonodaje in standardi, ki zahtevajo opravljanje različnih testov. Med njimi sta tudi preobremenitveni test z žarnicami z žarilno nitko in segrevanje stikala. Z njima se preverja odpornost kontaktov proti lepljenju in segrevanju kontaktnih elementov med delovanjem. Z različnimi kontaktnimi materiali smo analizirali različne rezultate testov in s tem skušali ugotoviti najboljše kombinacije kontaktnih materialov za uporabo v stikalu SM10. Pokazalo se je, da kontaktni material AgZnO8 PW25 na preskočniku zagotavlja manjše lepljenje kontaktov in manjše segrevanje kontaktnih elementov v primerjavi s standardnim materialom AgNi10.

Title:Choosing the appropriate material for the contact elements in a switch
Abstract:
In switch manufacturing, quality is crucial for the safety and longevity of the switch. For these reasons, there are legislations and standards that require various tests to be performed. Among them are the overload test with incandescent lamps and switch heating. These tests check the contacts resistance against sticking and contacts heating during operation. Different test results have been analysed with different contact materials to identify the best contact material combinations for use in the SM10 switch. It has been shown that the AgZnO8 PW25 contact material on the jumper provides lower contact sticking and lower contact heating compared to the standard AgNi10 material.
