Abstract
Prispevek skuša orisati dvojezičnost izobraževalnega modela v Prekmurju. Analizira temeljne značilnosti dvosmernega modela imerzije (ang. two way immersion), poudari značilnosti, s spremembo katerih bi lahko prispevali k notranji obnovi dvojezičnega izobraževanja v Prekmurju, k dvigu statusa in prestiža maternega jezika manjšine, k povečanju dominantnosti maternega jezika.

Abstract:
The study aims to draft a typology of the bilingual educational model and bilingualism in the Prekmurje region. It analyses the basic criteria of the two-way immersion model, and highlights those aspects which, modified or changed, could contribute to an increase of the prestige and status of the mother tongue of the minority, and the enhancing of the dominance of the mother tongue.
