Abstract
Prvi del teoretičnega dela vključuje raziskovanje dotika in poglabljanje v njegov psihološki in fizični pomen, še posebej v času pandemije, ko je dotik postal prepovedano dejanje.

Title:Clothing collection Metamorphosis
Abstract:
In the world of fashion, where textiles become a channel for artistic expression, the theme of transformation is a powerful starting point for exploring complex human emotions, growth, and transformation. The thesis presents an experimental fashion collection and an exploration that begins with a deep dive into emotions. The collection includes wearable sculptures that transcend conventional boundaries. The collection encourages reflection on the pressing issue of plastic pollution that plagues our natural world today. The first part of the theoretical part includes an exploration of touch and a deepening of its psychological and physical meaning, especially in a time of pandemic where touch has become a forbidden act. The second part focuses on plastic, which is a pressing problem of our time. The research focuses on the transformation of the fashion industry into a positive force. Conscious consumption, responsible sourcing of raw materials and waste reduction all play an important role in this, leading to a more sustainable future for the fashion world. The experimental part involves the development, implementation and presentation of a clothing collection involving the reuse of materials. Here, the narrative continues with a visual demonstration of the transformation, based on a clever combination of pieces of waste plastic that have been given a new life through recycling. The collection confronts emotions ranging from vulnerability to the strength and resilience of the human spirit. In this intersection of art and emotion, the collection becomes a testament to the power of fashion as a narrative medium that encourages introspection and establishes connections that transcend boundaries. Born out of creativity and consciousness, the collection aims to illuminate a path towards a more harmonious coexistence between art, fashion, and our environment.
