Abstract
Zaključna naloga predstavlja razvoj in konstrukcijo tračnega brusilnika od ideje do izdelane tehnične dokumentacije končnega produkta, pripravljenega za izdelavo. Tračno brušenje spada med postopke fine obdelave z odrezavanjem, pri katerem je rezalno orodje abrazivni trak. V uvodnem delu je bila izvedena analiza trga. Na podlagi naših želja in tehničnih zahtev je bil izdelan konstrukcijski zahtevek. Ta služi kot izhodišče za začetek reševanja tehnične naloge. V fazi koncipiranja so bile na podlagi konstrukcijskega zahtevka izpeljane funkcije, ki jih mora naprava izpolniti. S pomočjo morfološke matrike je bilo oblikovanih in ovrednotenih nekaj variacij koncepta brusilnika. Izbran je bil koncept z najvišjo skupno oceno in detajlno zmodeliran v 3D programu Solidworks. Določene so bile obremenitve na ležaje ter izračunana njihova življenjska doba. Izdelana je bila še tehniška dokumentacija, ki zajema vse potrebne sestavne risbe posameznih podsestavov in delavniške risbe ter oceno stroškov.

Title:
Belt grinder design
Abstract:
This final thesis presents the development and design of a belt grinder, from an idea to the production of technical documentation of the final product that is ready for production. Belt grinding is a fine finishing process involving a cutting tool, the cutting tool being an abrasive belt. In the introductory part, a market analysis was carried out. On the basis of our wishes and technical requirements a design brief was set-up. It served as a starting point for solving the technical problem. In the conception phase, the functions to be fulfilled by the device were selected on the basis of the design brief. Several variations of the grinder concept were designed and evaluated using a morphological matrix. The concept with the highest overall score was selected and modelled in Solidworks 3D. The loads on the bearings were determined and their lifetime was calculated. Technical documentation was made, including all the necessary component drawings of the individual sub-assemblies and shop drawings, together with a cost estimate.
