Abstract
Industrijski semaforji so bistven del industrijskega okolja, ki operaterjem prek svetlobnega signala sporočajo stanje stroja.

Title:
Microcontroller based industrial tower light
Abstract:
Industrial signal lights are an essential part of the industrial environment, communicating machine status to operators via a light signal. A traditional semaphore contains multi-segmented assemblies of different colours mounted on the base of a signal tower. The number of segments contained makes this solution cost-prohibitive. This thesis describes the design of an industrial signal light that uses only two light segments in the form of WS2812 programmable light-emitting diodes to generate the full range of appropriate colours. Two such elements are needed because the signal light needs to display two colours at the same time. The circuit is controlled by a PIC microcontroller which also controls the audio signal. The semaphore also contains an Esp-01s module to communicate the machine status to the ThingSpeak server.
