Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava stanje šolstva in izobraževanja odraslih v obdobju Slovenije v SFRJ do osamosvojitve Republike Slovenije (1965-1991) in od osamosvojitve do leta 2011. Pri izobraževanju odraslih smo se konkretno osredotočili na delovanje Delavske univerze Tomo Brejc v Kranju v Sloveniji v SFRJ ter Ljudski univerzi Kranj v samostojni Republiki Sloveniji. Za prvo obdobje je bil značilen močan politični nadzor celotnega izobraževalnega sistema na ravni SFRJ. Nadzor se je vršil preko različnih zakonodajnih ukrepov, vsebine pa so bile prilagojene politični ideologiji socializma. V samostojni Republiki Sloveniji se v skladu z demokratično ureditvijo politična ideologija razblini, nadzor pa postane ohlapnejši, čeprav še vedno prisoten na drugih področjih, pogosto preko financiranja.

Title:Education and adult education in Slovenia from 1965 to 2011 : magistrsko delo
Abstract:
The master's thesis examines the state of education and adult education in the period in Slovenia in the SFRY until the independence of the Republic of Slovenia (1965 - 1991) and from independence to 2011. In adult education, we specifically focused on Delavska univerza Tomo Brejc in Kranj in Slovenia in the SFRY and Ljudska univerza Kranj in the independent Republic of Slovenia. The first period was characterized by strong political control of the entire education system at the SFRY level. Control was carried out through various legislative measures, and the contents were adapted to the political ideology of socialism. In the independent Republic of Slovenia, in accordance with the democratic arrangement, political ideology dissipates, and control becomes looser, although it is always present in other areas, often through financing.
