Abstract
V delu je predstavljen bolezenski kompleks ESCA, načini zgodnjega odkrivanja te bolezni in možni načini zatiranja s pomočjo biokontrole. ESCA je kompleks več patogenih gliv, ki okužujejo les vinske trte, kar onemogoča rast in povzroči pogosto posledično odmiranje rastline. V ta bolezenski kompleks so vključene glive Fomitiporia mediterranea, Phaeomoniella chlamydospora, Phaeoacremonium minimum, Botryosphaeria stevensii, Stereum hirsutum in Eutypa lata. V diplomskem delu bo narejen pregled različnih zgodnjih metod odkrivanja te bolezni kot je detekcija z molekularnimi markerji in zaznavanje z multispektralno fotografijo. Bolezenski kompleks ESCA ima uničujoče posledice za vinograd in posledično za pridelek, zato je ključnega pomena, da se bolezen čim hitreje odkrije, ostale rastline pa zaščiti na različne načine. Ena izmed metod zaščite bo predstavljena v diplomskem delu.

Title:Methods for early detection of ESCA, a grapevine trunk disease, in grapevine (Vitis vinifera) and types of biocontrol
Abstract:
This work describes the disease complex ESCA, it's early detection and possible types of biocotrol. ESCA is a multi-disease complex, that affects grapevine trunks and causes a decline in growth and often results in the death of a plant. This disease complex comprises of the following fungi: Fomitiporia mediterranea, Phaeomoniella chlamydospora, Phaeoacremonium minimum, Botryosphaeria stevensii, Stereum hirsutum and Eutypa lata. This work serves as an overview of different methods of early detection such as detection using molecular markers and detection with multispectral photography. The disease complex ESCA has a devastating consequences for the vineyard and can drastically reduce a winegrower's crop production. Therefore it is crucial to detect the disease in its early stages in order to protect the rest of the vineyard.
