Abstract
Tema diplomskega dela je vključevanje slovenskih ornamentov v oblikovanje embalaže kozmetičnih izdelkov. Veliko pozornosti smo posvetili oblikovanju ornamenta, saj smo se prav vsi vsaj enkrat v življenju soočili s to našo kulturno dediščino. V diplomskem delu imamo podane vse izdelane plašče in oblikovane dizajne s podanimi razlagami.

Title:Inclusion of Slovenian ornaments in design of cosmetic products packaging
Abstract:
The topic of my graduation thesis focuses on the integration of Slovenian ornaments into the design of cosmetic products packaging. The design of the ornament is of great importance here since we have all come across this form of cultural heritage at least once in our lifetime. The analysis of Old Slavic culture and ornaments has helped us design and bring ornaments into modern times. Night and day skin care creams are often available to individuals. In addition to these creams, various serums are also available for additional skincare or improving the skin's appearance, so we added two more types of serum. Based on that, we decided to produce two different packaging lines. We produced four secondary packaging, two for the cream and two for the serum. At the same time, we produced five labels for primary packaging containing cosmetic products. In addition, a cleansing gel was included in the product range, for which we produced a label. We used Adobe Illustrator to draw the secondary packaging, which was quite convenient as we could work on the design and the printed sample at the same time. The final sample then served us as a graphic element for the packaging and the sample was used to develop a logo for the chosen cosmetics line. In addition to the graphic elements, we also had to write the necessary information on the cosmetic packaging, which every cosmetic packaging must contain. The packaging nets and labels were cut with a Kongsberg X20 automatic cutter. The packaging design and labels were printed on a Xerox Versant 280 Press. In addition to printing the outer form (coat) of the packaging, we decided to add content to the inside of the packaging as well, given the vital role of space use and utilisation. This led to creating aesthetically perfected packaging for cosmetic products containing our manufactured pattern. The thesis has all the manufactured coats and designs created with explanations.
