Abstract
Modalna analiza je postopek, s katerim bomo preučili nihajne lastnosti in dinamično obnašanje hrbta bobna sušilnega stroja. Osrednji problem je določitev modalnih parametrov kot, so lastne frekvence, lastne oblike in dušenje sistema. Tega se bomo najprej lotili z numerično analizo s študentsko verzijo simulacijskega programa Ansys ter nato primerjali z rezultati Eksperimentalne modalne analize. Dobili smo nekatere primerljive lastne frekvence in oblike, poleg tega smo opazili možnosti izboljšav, kot so postavitev in število merilnih mest ter optimizacija 3D modela.

Title:Modal analysis of the drum's back of the drying machine
Abstract:
Modal analysis is a procedure through which we will study the vibrational properties and dynamic behavior of the back of the drum of a drying machine. The primary challenge involves identifying modal parameters, including natural frequencies, mode shapes, and system damping. We will first approach this with numerical analysis using a student version of the simulation software Ansys and then compare it with the results of the Experimental Modal Analysis. We obtained some comparable natural frequencies and mode shapes. Additionally, we observed possibilities for improvements such as the placement and number of measurement points and the optimization of the 3D model.
