Abstract
V zaključni nalogi je analizirana možnost uporabe topološke optimizacije za snovanje sredic kompozitnih sendvič nosilcev, s ciljem zmanjšanja mase v primerjavi z obstoječimi materiali. V začetku naloge je predstavljen problem in teoretično ozadje, v nadaljevanju sledi opis dela skozi različne pristope k optimizaciji in na koncu naloge še analiza in primerjava novo zasnovanih nosilcev z obstoječimi. Analize so opravljene na teoretični ravni v obliki simulacij po metodi končnih elementov. Iz rezultatov smo ugotovili, da je uporaba topološke optimizacije na tem področju izvedljiva in odpira možnost nadaljnjih raziskav.

Title:Topology optimization of a sandwich composite beam core
Abstract:
This thesis analyses the possibility of using topology optimization for the design of cores in composite sandwich structures, with the aim of reducing weight compared to existing materials. The initial part of the thesis introduces the problem and theoretical background, followed by a description of the work through various topology optimization approaches. The conclusion of the thesis includes an analysis and comparison of the newly designed structures with existing ones using finite element method simulations. The results indicate that the application of topology optimization in this field is feasible and opens up possibilities for further research.
