Abstract
Z namenom modeliranja adhezivnega spoja vlakensko ojačanega poliestra in jekla se v nalogi analizirajo pristopi k numeričnemu modeliranju adhezivnih strukturnih spojev. V začetku je izveden pregled teorij adhezije in glavnih družin strukturnih adhezivov. Temu sledi pregled pristopov k numerični implementaciji adhezivnih spojev.

Title:Numerical modeling of structural adhesive bond of fiber reinforced polyester and steel
Abstract:
With ever growing usage of composite materials, the importance of alternative fastening methods increases because traditional fastening methods are usually not adequate for use on composites. For the purpose of modeling the adhesive joint of fiber reinforced polyester and steel, the numerical approaches on modeling of the adhesive structural joints are analyzed. The overview of the theories of adhesion and the primary groups of structural adhesives is carried out initially. It is followed by an examination of the approaches on numerical implementations of adhesive joints. The emphasis is placed on the cohesive zone modeling - CZM approach. For the selected requirements of the bond of selected composite tubular housing and steel, the suitable adhesive is chosen. Following this, the experimental layout is designed in order to measure parameters for CZM while enabling variation of adhesive bond thickness. On the basis of experimental parameters, numerical models for repetition of the tests are developed. Finally, based on the results of numerical and experimental tests, the numerical approaches are rated for chosen adhesive and adherents and the most suitable approach based on the CZM is determined.
