The transition of the automotive industry towards green mobility brings new challenges in mechanical engineering. In recent years, the electric motor, as the main component of the drive system, has been able to generate more and more energy, leading to demanding life cycles and loads. In the master thesis, we have focused on the design of the bearing seat of the fixed bearing. After the failure of the mentioned detail during testing, we first carefully examined the requirements for mounting the bearing and considered all external factors during operation. In the next steps, we have looked at the construction details of the competing manufactures and created concepts with collected knowledge. With the help of analytical preliminary calculations and numerical simulations, an optimal design that represents a solution with a fixating plate was determined. Optimal design was subsequently also tested on a shaker. In the research, the main factors influencing the collapse of structures were discovered, and at the same time, a solution that can be used more widely in the production of drive car electric motors was proposed.
