Načini izvajanja pohodništva v družinah s predšolskimi otroki : diplomsko delo

Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo analizirali načine izvajanja pohodništva v družinah, ki imajo predšolske otroke od prvega do šestega leta starosti. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 48 staršev iz Polhovega Gradca, Šentjošta in Črnega vrha nad Polhovim Gradcem. Zanimalo nas je, kako pogosto se odpravijo na pohod; na kakšne načine vključijo svoje otroke v pripravo (izbira cilja, priprava nahrbtnika, hrane, pijače, opreme …) in katere načine spodbud za hojo uporabljajo med pohodniškimi dejavnostmi. Pridobljene podatke smo primerjali z drugimi študijami in avtorji. Ugotovili smo, da so starši v 32 % otroka vzeli s seboj v hribe zmerno pogosto, torej približno enkrat na 14 dni. 4 % staršev ni nikoli ali skoraj nikoli šli z otrokom v hribe. Otroke največkrat starši vključujejo v pripravo in izbiro hrane, pijače, oblačil, nahrbtnika in obutve. Nagrade za osvojeni vrh niso pogoste. Med pohodniškimi dejavnostmi večina staršev kot način spodbude uporabi opazovanje narave, živali, rož in ugibanje vrst živali. Redki starši za spodbudo pri hoji povabijo v družbo otrokove vrstnike in se poslužijo elementov gozdne pedagogike. Na podlagi ugotovitev raziskave menimo, da bi bilo smiselno organizirati različne pohodniške dneve za družine z otroki, kjer bi staršem na nevsiljiv način predstavili možnosti spodbud pri hoji (izbiro različnih vrhov, različnih poti, različnih načinov orientacijske hoje, pomen sodelovanja otroka za večjo motivacijo pri hoji ipd.).

Title:Implementation Methods of Hiking in Families with Preschoolers
Abstract:
This thesis analyses implementation methods for hiking in families with preschool children from one to six years of age. We performed a survey which included 48 parents from Polhov Gradec, Šentjošt, and Crni Vrh nad Polhovim Gradcem. The aims of the survey were to discover how often families go hiking, how they include children in preparation (choosing the goal, preparing the backpack, food, drinks, gear), and what methods of motivation are utilized. The gathered information was compared with relevant studies from other authors. According to the survey results, 32 % of parents go hiking with their children often; aproximately once every fourteen days. Four per cent visit the mountains never or almost never. Children are most often included in the preparation and choosing of food, drinks, clothing and shoes, and other backpack necessities. Rewards for reaching the peak of the mountain are rare. During hiking, most parents motivate their children with the observation and naming of nature, animals and flowers. Only a few parents invite the child's peers as a form of motivation, or use elements of forest pedagogics. We conclude that it may be advantageous to organise hiking lectures for families with children, where they could be unobtrusively educated about the various possibilities of motivation for hiking (picking varying mountains, varying paths, different ways of orientation, the importance of being linclusive of the child in increasing motivation for hiking, etc.).
