Abstract
Zaključna naloga obravnava možnosti izdelave kovinskih pen iz jekla z navarjanjem MAG. Pri varjenju jekla v zračni atmosferi talina topi več dušika v osnovnem materialu, zato navar postane porozen. Eksperiment izdelave kovinske pene smo izvedli s postopkom MAG. V zaščiti plina CO2 smo izdelali referenčne navare z jakostmi varilnih tokov 70 A, 110 A in 150 A. Pri enakih pogojih smo izdelali navare tudi brez zaščitnega plina. Glede na plan preizkusov smo ugotavljali vpliv jakosti varilnega toka, lege gorilnika in števila varkov na izdelavo vzorcev kovinskih pen. Izdelane navare smo vizualno pregledali, analizirali smo rentgenske posnetke in opravili analizo makroobrusov.

Title:Analysis of methods for the production of metal foams
Abstract:
The final thesis deals with the possibilities of producing metal foams from steel by MAG welding. When welding steel in an air atmosphere, the melt melts more nitrogen in the base material, so the weld becomes full of porous. The experiment of metal foam production was carried out by the MAG process. Reference welds were made under CO2 shielding gas with welding currents of 70 A, 110 A and 150 A. Welds were made under the same conditions without shielding gas. According to the test plan, the influence of welding current intensity, torch position and number of welds on the production of metal foam samples was determined. The welds were visually inspected, X-rays images were analysed and macro-abrasion analysis was carried out. It was found that high welding influences arc extinction due to insufficient contact with the melt. The resulting welds contained porosity, but not to a sufficient extent for the MAG process to replace other metal foaming processes.
