Abstract
Hidravlika je zaradi zmožnosti opravljanja dela z veliki silami nepogrešljiva v vsakdanjem življenju. Pomemben hidravlični element so hidravlični valji, v katerih se nahajajo različne vrste tesnil. Na mestu tesnil je torej prisotno trenje, puščanje in obraba. V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena raziskava vpliva različnih oblik in materialov batnih tesnil v hidravličnem valju na silo trenja. Trenje smo testirali v dveh hidravličnih kapljevinah, tj. voda in mineralno olje, pri šestih različnih hitrosti izvlačenja batnice na za to pripravljenem preskuševališču. Ugotovili smo, da delež sile trenja v mineralnem olju predstavlja od 60 % do 85 % sile trenja, ki ga ustvari isti sklop batnega tesnjenja v vodi. Za en tip tesnila smo eksperimentalno dokazali, da se s povečanjem premera utora za 0,5 mm, sila trenja v obeh hidravličnih kapljevinah poveča med 25 % in 40 %. S trajnostnim preizkusom, ki smo ga opravljali na že postavljenem preizkuševališču, pa smo dobili podatke o puščanje sklopa batnega tesnjenja pred zagonom trajnostnega preizkusa, po 50 km poti in po opravljenih 100 km poti batnice pri polni obremenitvi.

Title:Comparison of piston seals friction in water and oil hydraulics
Abstract:
Hydraulics is indispensable in everyday life because of its ability to work with large forces. Hydraulic cylinders are an important hydraulic element and contain different types of seals. Friction, leakage and wear are therefore present at the seals. This thesis presents an investigation of the influence of different shapes and materials of piston seals in a hydraulic cylinder on the friction force. The friction was tested in two hydraulic fluids, water and mineral oil, at six different piston rod extrusion speeds on a test rig prepared for this purpose. It was found that the proportion of the friction force in mineral oil is between 60 % and 85 % of the friction force generated by the same piston seal in water. For one type of seal, we have experimentally demonstrated that increasing the groove diameter by 0.5 mm increases the friction force in both hydraulic fluids by between 25 % and 40 %. However, a long-term test carried out on a pre-built test rig provided data on the leakage of the piston seal before the start of the long-term test, after 50 km of travel, and after 100 km of travel of the piston rod at full load.
