Abstract

Title:Optimization of civil engineering project quality using the triangle model of running a project : graduation thesis no.:230/OG-MK
Abstract:
In this graduation thesis, we compare different designs and types of floor slabs according to the project management triangle model, which evaluates time, cost and quality. We compared different types of floor slabs, assuming the same quality and comparing the different solutions only in terms of time and cost. We also wanted to know whether the choice also depends on the builder being a private individual (self-employed) or a construction company. In addition to quality, we also evaluated thermal and acoustic performance. By comparing the different types of floor slabs, we have thus achieved the desired overview of the costs for the different builders. We found that the choice of the »optimal« system depends on the type of builder. However, it should be stressed that when applying the results, it is necessary to be aware of the assumptionsmade and limitations highlighted in the thesis.
