Abstract
V svetu je vedno več računalniških iger in vedno bolj raste tudi trg mobilnih iger, saj so mobilne naprave bolj dostopne kot osebni računalniki. Igro smo izdelali v ogrodju Unity, samo pisanje skript in razhroščevanje pa opravili z razvojnim okoljem Visual Studio. V tem diplomskem delu smo predstavili ogrodje Unity, postopek načrtovanja, izgled in delovanje končnega izdelka. Diplomsko delo opiše izdelane koncepte, ki se pogosto uporabljajo tudi v drugih igrah, npr. inventar, bitke v realnem času, posebne sposobnosti (angl. ability), ipd. Tekom naloge je opisanih tudi več problemov, na katere moramo paziti, na primer shranjevanje podatkov, načrtovanje prilagodljivega uporabniškega vmesnika, ki ustreza različnim resolucijam zaslonov mobilnih naprav, in izgradnja robustnega sistema za večigralski način. Glavni del igre so ekspedicije oz. avanture (angl. adventure), ki z napredkom igralca postajajo težavnejše, a tudi bolj nagrajujoče. Tako mora igralec paziti, da ne vztraja predolgo, saj če je premagan v spopadu, izgubi celoten izplen. Poleg tega ima pomembno vlogo tudi priprava na odpravo v smislu izbiranja prave opreme, odklepanja in izbire posebnih sposobnosti ter upravljanje z inventarjem. V načinu za več igralcev je na voljo izbira področja, po katerem se ocenjuje napredek tekmujočih igralcev (količina zbrane valute, največji napredek na ekspediciji, najbolj razvit avatar) v določenem časovnem obdobju. Parametre igre v tem načinu določa lastnik sobe.

Title:Mobile device game development with Unity Engine
Abstract:
There are more and more computer games in our world. With the growing market of mobile phones, which are more affordable, mobile games are becoming increasingly popular as well. We developed the game in the Unity framework and used Visual Studio for script writing and debugging. The thesis describes the concepts we used and are often used when developing games, like the inventory system, expeditions, real-time battles, enemy and ally behaviour, skill and level systems, etc. Some challenges are also noted, for example the saving of data, designing a flexible UI for multiple phone screen resolutions and the building of a robust multiplayer system. The main part of the game are expeditions, which become increasingly difficult as the player progresses but also more rewarding. Therefore, the player must balance between greed and playing safe, as getting defeated in battle results in the loss of much of the gained loot. Besides this, it is important for the player to prepare for the expedition as best as he can through equipment selection, unlocking and selecting skills, accepting quests and managing his inventory. In the multiplayer mode the room master can choose in what area the players will compete in (be it to gather as much currency or get as far as possible) and select the time frame.
