Abstract
Poškodbe spodnjih ekstremitet v alpskem smučanju so zelo pogoste in predstavljajo več kot polovico vseh poškodb v tem športu. Glavni del naloge vsebuje posebnosti in pomanjkljivosti rehabilitacijskih postopkov v praksi, primer poteka poškodbe v praksi ter prikaz poteka vseh faz rehabilitacije multiligamentarne poškodbe reda KDI.

Title:A case study of integrated knee rehabilitation after multiligamentous injury of KDI classification in alpine skiing
Abstract:
Lower limb injuries in alpine skiing are very common and account for more than half of all injuries in this sport. Knee is the most commonly injured joint due to its structure and function. Multiligamentous injuries are among the most complex injuries of the knee joint. The incidence of KDI-type multiligamentous injuries is 16 % of all knee injuries. Due to the relatively low incidence of this type of injury, the literature on the rehabilitation process is deficient. The aim of this thesis is to present the orthopaedic, physiotherapeutic and kinesiological approach in the course of rehabilitation of multiligamentous KDI injuries. The thesis provides a guide to the rehabilitation process of complex knee injuries, taking into account the content specifically related to alpine skiing and the most common shortcomings and errors in practice from the onset of the injury to the last phase of rehabilitation. The master thesis is supported by a concrete case of this type of injury. The sources of the Master's thesis are drawn from foreign and national literature, various media and my own experience. In the introduction there are presented the requirements of ski sport, the anatomy of the knee joint, the epidemiology of knee joint injuries and the diagnosis of multiligamentous injuries. The main part of the thesis contains the peculiarities and shortcomings of rehabilitation procedures in practice, an example of the injury in practice and a demonstration of the course of all stages of rehabilitation of a multiligamentous injury of the KDI order. Right rehabilitation approach is crucial for the functionality of the joint and the prevention of early onset of degenerative knee injuries. Inadequate rehabilitation has a major impact on the return to sporting participation and at the same time affects a person's functionality in everyday life. All disciplines listed above are crucial for a good rehabilitation. The kinesiologist takes on an important role from the phase of establishing full ranges of movement until the phase of returning to sport participation.
