Abstract

Title:OPTIMISING WORK IN LOGISTICS USING AUTONOMOUS MEANS
Abstract:
Logistics plays a crucial role in the global economy, as it connects suppliers and consumers with efficient solutions for transportation and storage. In recent years, new technologies such as autonomous vehicles, smart warehouses, natural language processing and robotic process automation have begun to emerge, transforming the way logistics operations are carried out. These technological advancements, along with artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, the Internet of Things and telematics, can significantly improve existing logistics processes, leading to greater efficiency, cost savings, and environmental benefits. This thesis aims to study the impact of these technologies on the logistics industry with a focus on the optimization and integration of autonomous vehicles, smart warehouses, natural language processing and robotic process automation in various logistics processes. In the thesis, I will examine how these technologies complement each other and their coordinated operation for creating a more efficient, sustainable, and competitive logistics landscape. Additionally, I will address the challenges and potential concerns arising from the use of these technologies. During the literature review, I will also examine case studies that demonstrate how some companies have successfully implemented these technologies and the advantages they have gained. I will also review examples of autonomous vehicle use in goods and transportation, the use of smart warehouses for inventory optimization and improved supply chain management, continuing with the application of natural language processing technologies in communication between companies, customers and logistics partners and finishing with the use of robotic process automation that aims to improve efficiency by automating routine and repeating tasks.
