Abstract
Redni izvajalci takšne vadbe so v dobri telesni pripravljenosti, saj ulična vadba krepi vse gibalne sposobnosti in hkrati uči varnosti pri padcih.

Title:SQUAT AND STRADDLE JUMP IN PARKOUR
Abstract:
Street workout is a movement focused on effectively overcoming obstacles, rooted in French military training method. It involves movements such as running, jumping, climbing, crawling, and rolling. Nowadays, it is mainly practiced in urban environments, with practitioners using cityscape a training ground. Parkour’s versatility knows no bounds. Regular practitioners tend to be in excellent physical condition, as parkour strengthens all motor abilities while also teaching safety against falls. In my research, I studied the impact of different surfaces and footwear on foot forces during squat and straddle jump over obstacle. The study’s goal was to determine the differences in forces during take-off and landing on asphalt, parquet, tartan, and grass, as well as the differences between forces of the left and right feet and forces with and without footwear. The findings showed significant differences in forces between take-off and landing on various surfaces. The lowest force during take-off was on tartan, while the highest was on parquet. For landing, the forces were lowest on asphalt and highest on parquet. Differences also emerged between the forces of each foot individually, with the dominant leg’s foot typically experiencing higher forces. Footwear did not play a significant role during take-off but was important for dampening forces during landing.
